Math

We will be learning many challenging new concepts in math this year. In our first unit we will be learning about place value as we add and subtract multi-digit numbers. The best way to get better at math is to practice, so keep your mind sharp by logging onto Khan Academy at home! Science

In our first science unit we will be investigating ecosystems to learn more about how living things interact. We will even have a small ecosystem in our classroom to study! It's an exciting time to be a scientist!

 

Social Studies

This year we will be learning about the different regions of the United States. Have you lived in another part of the country? If you have and you'd like to share your first-hand knowledge with us, please send me a message! We love having guests in our classroom.

 

Before we dive into specific regions of the US, we will learn about social sciences, privacy, and cultural contributions to the United States. We will learn about how different cultures helped shape our nation.
